Get Up With God – Week of Consecration in Prayer

Theme: “Set Apart for God”

Key Scripture:

Joshua 3:5 (KJV)

“Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

Consecration is the act of surrendering ourselves fully to God—spirit, soul, and body—so we can walk in holiness, power, and alignment with His will.

Monday – The Call to Consecration

Scriptures:

Joshua 3:5 – Sanctify yourselves; God prepares to do wonders
Romans 12:1 – Present your bodies as a living sacrifice

Prayer Points:

Lord, I answer Your call to consecration with humility and obedience.
I present my life to You as a living sacrifice—holy and acceptable.
Remove anything that competes with my devotion to You.
Prepare my heart for the wonders You desire to release through obedience.

Tuesday – The Power of Consecration

Scriptures:

Exodus 19:10–11 – Consecrate the people; the Lord will come down
Leviticus 20:7–8 – Sanctify yourselves and be holy

Prayer Points:

Lord, show me the power that is released when I live consecrated unto You.
Teach me that consecration creates room for Your presence and power.
Let my separation unto You bring clarity, authority, and spiritual strength.
Break compromise and awaken a deeper hunger for holiness.

Wednesday – Living a Consecrated Lifestyle

Scriptures:

1 Peter 1:15–16 – Be holy in all manner of living
Psalm 119:9 – A young person keeps their way pure by living according to God’s Word

Prayer Points:

Lord, help me live consecrated not just in moments, but daily.
Align my thoughts, words, and actions with Your holiness.
Teach me to choose righteousness in private and public.
Let my lifestyle reflect my devotion and surrender to You.

Thursday – Renewed Devotion & Obedience

Scriptures:

John 14:15 – If you love Me, keep My commandments
Psalm 119:33–35 – Teach me Your ways; give me understanding

Prayer Points:

Lord, renew my love for You and my commitment to obey You fully.
Let obedience flow from intimacy, not obligation.
Help me delight in Your Word and walk faithfully in Your ways.
Align my will completely with Yours.

Friday – Healing Through Consecration (Healing Friday)

Scriptures:

Jeremiah 30:17 – God restores health and heals wounds
Isaiah 58:8 – Healing springs forth speedily
James 5:16 – Confession, prayer, and healing

Prayer Points:

Lord, release healing to my body, mind, and spirit as I consecrate myself to You.
Heal wounds caused by sin, compromise, trauma, and spiritual fatigue.
Restore strength, peace, and wholeness through Your presence.
Let healing flow as we walk in obedience and surrender.
Make us whole as we are set apart for Your glory.

Exodus 1:6-22

Now Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died, but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.

Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt. “Look,” he said to his people, “the Israelites have become far too numerous for us. 10 Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.”

11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. 12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites 13 and worked them ruthlessly. 14 They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.

15 The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, 16 “When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.” 17 The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. 18 Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”

19 The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.”

20 So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous. 21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.

22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.
