Monday, October 20 – Standing Firm in Faith

Leader: Freda Singleton

Scripture:

  • James 1:2–4 – “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

  • Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Prayer Points:

  • Lord, help us to remain steadfast when our faith is tested.

  • Strengthen us to keep believing even when results seem delayed.

  • Let perseverance shape our character and deepen our trust in You.


Tuesday, October 21 – Strength to Endure Hardship

Leader: Cassandra Cash-Garrett

Scripture:

  • 2 Timothy 2:3 – “Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”

  • Romans 5:3–4 – “We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.”

Prayer Points:

  • Lord, give us the heart of a soldier to stand strong in battle.

  • Teach us to rejoice in trials, knowing they produce endurance.

  • Turn our struggles into testimonies that glorify Your name.


Wednesday, October 22 – Renewed Strength for the Journey

Leader: Pastor Cash

Scripture:

  • Isaiah 40:31 – “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.”

  • Hebrews 10:36 – “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

Prayer Points:

  • Lord, renew our strength as we wait on You.

  • Help us to keep running the race of faith with endurance.

  • Empower us to walk in obedience until Your promises are fulfilled.


Thursday, October 23 – Pressing Toward the Goal

Leader: Minister Kevin Cash

Scripture:

  • Philippians 3:13–14 – “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

  • 1 Corinthians 9:24 – “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

Prayer Points:

  • Lord, give us a focused heart to press forward in faith.

  • Remove distractions that slow down our spiritual progress.

  • Help us to run with discipline, passion, and purpose.


Friday, October 24 – Healing and Restoration for the Weary (Healing Friday)

Scripture:

  • Matthew 11:28–29 – “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

  • Isaiah 40:29 – “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

  • 1 Peter 5:10 – “After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.”

Prayer Points:

  • Lord, heal every area of weakness and exhaustion in our lives.

  • Restore those who have grown weary in the journey of faith.

  • Pour out fresh grace, peace, and physical healing upon Your people.

  • Strengthen our hearts to endure with joy and hope.

Protect Your Season

Exodus 1:6-22

Now Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died, but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.

Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt. “Look,” he said to his people, “the Israelites have become far too numerous for us. 10 Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.”

11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. 12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites 13 and worked them ruthlessly. 14 They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.

15 The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, 16 “When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.” 17 The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. 18 Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”

19 The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.”

20 So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous. 21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.

22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.
