Monday, September 8 – Unity in the Church (Individual & Universal)

Leader: Freda Singleton 

Scripture Readings:

  • John 17:20–21 — “I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
  • Ephesians 4:3 — “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
  • 1 Corinthians 1:10 — “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, unify Your church across denominations and traditions.
  2. Break down walls of division in theology, culture, and practice.
  3. Give us one heart and one voice to glorify Christ.
  4. Let the world believe through the witness of our unity.
  5. Help us to embody Your peace as one body.

Tuesday, September 9 – Unity in the Body through Spiritual Gifts

Leader: Cassandra Cash-Garrett

Scripture Readings:

  • Romans 12:4–5 — “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
  • 1 Corinthians 12:4–6 — “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.”
  • 1 Peter 4:10 — “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, align our spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ.
  2. Teach us to honor every gift, no matter how great or small.
  3. Remove jealousy, competition, and comparison among believers.
  4. Empower us to function in our roles with humility and joy.
  5. Let our gifts flow together in unity to reveal Christ.

Wednesday, September 10 – Unity in the Spirit (One Accord)

Leader: Pastor Cash

Scripture Readings:

  • Acts 2:1 — “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.”
  • Philippians 2:2 — “Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.”
  • Colossians 3:14 — “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, reveal to us the power of coming together in the Spirit.
  2. Give us one mind and one heart for Kingdom purpose.
  3. Bind us together with the love of Christ.
  4. Pour out Your Spirit when we gather in one accord.
  5. Let unity release revival in our church and city.

Thursday, September 11 – Unity among Pastors and Leaders

Leader: Pastor Mitchell 

Scripture Readings:

  • Jeremiah 3:15 — “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.”
  • Hebrews 13:17 — “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.”
  • 1 Peter 5:2–3 — “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.”

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, unite pastors and leaders across the body of Christ.
  2. Give shepherds Your heart for wisdom, love, and humility.
  3. Heal divisions and strengthen relationships among leaders.
  4. Raise up leaders who serve selflessly and faithfully.
  5. Let united leadership release blessing over the people.

Friday, September 12 – Healing for Unity beyond Church Hurt

Leader: Pastor Cash

Scripture Readings:

  • Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
  • Colossians 3:13 — “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
  • 2 Corinthians 13:11 — “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, heal wounds caused by division and church hurt.
  2. Release forgiveness and restoration among Your people.
  3. Tear down walls of bitterness and mistrust.
  4. Give us grace to reconcile and walk in peace.
  5. Establish unity in the body that overcomes past pain.

Protect Your Season

Exodus 1:6-22

Now Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died, but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.

Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt. “Look,” he said to his people, “the Israelites have become far too numerous for us. 10 Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.”

11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. 12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites 13 and worked them ruthlessly. 14 They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.

15 The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, 16 “When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.” 17 The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. 18 Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”

19 The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.”

20 So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous. 21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.

22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.
