The EMZ Evangelism Ministry is thrilled to announce our Annual Christmas Toy Drive! Let’s come together as a congregation to make this holiday season extra special for the children in our community. We’re inviting you to join us in spreading warmth and joy by contributing gifts and gift cards for children!
We’re asking for gifts for children in grades Pre-K to 4th; and $10 gift cards OR cash donations for children from grades 5th – 8th!
Your generosity can brighten their faces and create lasting memories that will resonate long after the tinsel is put away. Whether it’s a toy that sparks imagination or a gift card that allows them to choose their own treasures, every donation counts. Let’s make this year’s toy drive a testament to the love and compassion that defines our East Mount Zion family.
Drop off your toy donations at the designated boxes in the A. Charles Bowie vestibule marked Toy Drive, and your gift cards and/or financial donations at our table set up in the A. Charles Bowie vestibule or you can make cash donations on our website EMZBC.org!
Let’s work together to make this Christmas a memorable experience for every child. Wishing you a Christmas season filled with joy, laughter, and the peace of God! Donations will be accepted beginning next Sunday November 10, 2024.

Don’t Let "IT" Discourage Your Reach

February 2 2025- by Rev. Brian A. Cash, Pastor

Ephesian 3:8-13

Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.
